Am I led by the Spirit of God in my day to day life
How can I know how the Spirit of God can lead me in important
choices I must make?
As a Christian believer that loves God you want to know what is the
will of God for your life. Much knowledge about the will of God is
written in the Word of God. But this does not mean that the Bible
shows us which man or woman we ought to get married to - for
example. In order to find out many of these personal and detailed
guidances, we need not only to follow the Word of God. We also
need to learn in practice what it means to be led by the Spirit of God.
Romans 8:14 tells us: ”For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these
are sons of God.” This short verse says much. Romans 8:16 goes one
step further and says: ”The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit
that we are children of God.” There is a great secret of divine guidance
hidden in these words: ”The Spirit Himself bears witness with our
spirit”. This book is written to teach you and show you how you
can be led by the ”Inner witness” of the Spirit of God. By teaching
from the Bible. By testimonies of how we learnt it. And by detailed
descriptions of how you can recognise how the Spirit will speak or
witness to your spirit. After we learnt this secret, we saw a new clarity
in our ability to know and follow God’s guidance.
