Storms are threatening our safety, for they affect us with
a power we cannot control. Still, God permits that storms
come to all of our lives - in one form or another. Once Jesus'
apostles followed the guidance of Jesus to cross the Lake of
Genesareth. But even when they obeyed Him, a storm came
against them with great force. God does not always protect
us from every storm, but He permits them to come. For
storms are part of life in this world. His apostles reacted with
fear and with strong efforts to overcome it, but the boat filled
up with water. But in the moment they accepted that they
could not save themselves - and turned to Jesus for help - He
rose and stilled the storm.
In this book I go into the dynamics of storms of different
kinds. How they affect us. How we naturally react. How Jesus
responded. How we can find a place of refuge in Father God.
