Do you long to fly freely and in the high places, like an eagle? I believe
that in each Christian God has put such a longing to fly in the same freedom, restfulness and in high places - as the eagle does. But is it possible?
Is it realistic to long for it? In this world of so much that weigh us down
and make us depressed? Yes, I not only think or believe that it is possible.
I know it is possible for God has called us to live like this. And I have tasted it personally. In Isaiah 40:31 we read:
"But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint."
Did you know that we, Christians, are eagles? The Bible tells us so!
Recently the Lord has drawn my attention to many matters of restfulness
in my Christian life. I found several Bible verses that speaks about the eagles. There are some aspects of the eagle that God wants us to enjoy and
operate in, as believers. How the wind carries them. How they fly with little or no efforts, for they rest upon the wind. They have big wings compared to their body size. Their eye-sight is powerful. They are very interesting. This book shows us there are similarities between believers and
eagles. God wants to put some of these dynamics into your life of faith!
