This book is no 8 in the "Job speaks today-series". It continues where
"How excellent is Your name" (no 7) finished. We are in the end of the
book of Job. God spoke directly to Job for a very long time. As Job
listened and reflected on what God said, his understanding of God's
goodness and greatness went from very small to huge. He realised
his heart had become cold with disappointment at God in his deep
and long suffering. As Job met God face to face, his heart melted
and became humbled. For God's many questions had the effect on
him that God was glorified, as Job saw how far much higher God's
thoughts and acts were than what he himself could do. He forgot his
own pain when he saw how wonderfully God created and cares for
our earth. And how He created human beings as the glory of creation.
The last part of this book speaks of how deeply we can meet God in
reflecting on His creation. And learn to take our place in it by reflecting
on all its beauty. And become a worshipper in the midst of a myriad of
divine wonders. Some people lives as if nothing is a miracle, but here
we learn to see that everything in creation are miracles.
